The Yanagisawa SC-991 curved soprano is a beautifully designed and finely crafted saxophone. Its increased neck angle gives it richer tone and makes it more capable of aggressive playing, while many little refinements combine to make it especially fast, smooth, and articulate.
Key of Bb. Range from low Bb to high F#, all brass construction with lacquer finish and hand engraving, white shell lined indented pearl buttons, adjustable thumb rest mounted with only four small contact points to minimize effect on the resonance, pointed pivot screws, waterproof leather pads with metal resonators, tapered steel needle springs, and tri-point balanced body-bell brace.
